Student dies in Massena home

PSUC student Evan Jamison, 20, passed away in his Massena home Sunday.

Twenty-year-old Plattsburgh State student Evan Jamison passed away in his home Sunday, according to a Daily Courier-Observer obituary.

Jamison, a Massena New York native and graduate of Massena Central High School, had been attending PSUC since fall of 2008. 

The cause of death is unknown at this time.

A celebration of Jamison's life will be held tomorrow at 8 p.m. at the Phillips Memorial Home in Massena.

According to phillipsmemorial.com, friends and family may be received on Wednesday from 6 p.m. until the remembrance at 8 p.m. Any family and friends wishing to share their loving memories of Evan may do so at that time.

Jamison is survived by his mother Kathleen and step-father Stefan Kuppek both of Massena; his maternal grandmother Thelma Blackman of Carson City, Nev.; a half-brother Jason Hansen of Massena; a half-sister Heather Leu of Spokane, Wash.; one aunt Debra Jamison of Spokane,Wash.; and one uncle Ronald Jamison of Spokane, Wash.
