Tyree said the Student Association always is looking to reach out to students whose feedback is not usually received.
The Student Association has been looking to connect better with Greek Life, so Sanchez said he asked off-campus fraternity and sorority members for their aid.
The plan is for Student Association officials to go door-to-door with fraternity and sorority members to meet and reach more off-campus students.
One topic Tyree said might be discussed would be the Student Association shuttle’s new route. She said she has heard positive and negative feedback about it, but any feedback would be helpful to the Student Association.
“This will only help the organization grow and be the best that it can be,” Tyree said.
Cashman said the Student Association has never done anything like the focus groups, which he thinks will hold a lot of value.
“I applaud President Sanchez and the Student Association for undertaking the initiative,” he said.
