March 7

African Unity Fashion Show - The diversity of Plattsburgh students is showcased in this annual African-inspired fashion show.

It will take place at 8 p.m. in the Warren Ballrooms in the ACC.



March 7-9

"Guys and Dolls"- The spring musical, directed by Kim Hartshorn, continues Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Hartman Theatre in Myers.

Students Tyler Nye, Antonette Knoedl, Christian Amato and Jessica Schaefer star in the theater department's major production of the semester. See B6 for a preview of the show.



March 10

Play reading - There will be a read-through of "The Female Odd Couple" by Neil Simon.

It will take place at 4:00 p.m. in the Studio Theatre (Myers, room 129). There are six roles for men and four for women.



March 10

Shwa - The alternative rock artist is the next in the series of concerts put on by the Student Association.

Shwa's sound is inspired by Radiohead, Guster, U2, REM, Weezer and Coldplay.

The performance will take place at 8 p.m. in the Warren Ballrooms in the ACC.

It is sponsored by the Student Association Activities Coordination Board.



March 11

Burlington Taiko Drummers - This group has been performing the Taiko since 1987.

The concert will take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Krinovitz in Hawkins.

It is sponsored by the Center for Student Involvement.



March 12

Coffeehouse - Students perform live at the W.O.W. Cafe and Wingery in the ACC on Wednesday.

Coffee will be served, free of charge.

Performances begin at 8 p.m.

The event is sponsored by the Student Association Activities Coordination Board.
