FEB. 10

12:56 a.m. - Maintenance Bldg. - University Police observed the fire alarm light going off in the Maintenance Storage building. Officers checked the building and notified the Central Heating Plant of the alarm. Two individuals had broken into the building through a glass window and discharged a dry chemical fire extinguisher which activated a smoke detector. The individuals had left the building prior to University Police arriving on scene. The alarm system was reset and the building was secured. A crime incident report was filed. The investigation is continuing.

10:55 a.m. - Hood Hall - A resident student reported receiving threatening instant messages from an off-campus student. University Police advised the off-campus student not to contact the resident student. The off-campus student later reported that the resident student's brother had sent an annoying Facebook message to her. University Police contacted the individual and advised them not to contact the off-campus student. A crime incident report was filed.

10:30 p.m. - Court Street - The Plattsburgh City Police arrested Seth Hogan of 122 Court St. and charged him with a violation of the city open container ordinance and a violation of the ABC Law for possession of alcohol under the age of 21. Hogan was released upon an appearance ticket.



FEB. 11

9:34 a.m. - Harrington Hall - An employee reported that she found urine in the recycling bin on the third floor of Harrington Hall on 02-06-08. A service report was filed.

10:59 a.m. - On Campus - A resident student reported that they fell twice on a snow-covered walkway between Kent Hall and Rugar Street on 02-06-08. The student reported seeking treatment at CVPH. Accident and service reports were filed.

1:12 p.m. - Lot 12 - University Police responded to a property damage motor vehicle accident in Lot 12. Motor vehicle accident and service reports were filed.

2:40 p.m. - Hawkins Hall - An employee reported receiving an annoying voice mail message. Telecommunications incident and service reports were filed.
