A capella vocal clinic - The Plattsburgh State music department sponsors vocal clinics to offer technique training to singers. Those who participate will have the opportunity to perform in a concert on Saturday night.
Clinics will take place at 5 p.m. Friday and 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Myers room 300.
The cost of the clinic is $10.
Feb. 23
Black History Month A Capella Concert - In conjunction with the clinics and to honor Black History Month, the music department will present an a capella concert Saturday at 7 p.m. in the Giltz Auditorium in Hawkins.
Admission is $1 or one canned good.
Proceeds will benefit the North Country Underground Railroad Association and the Interfaith Food Shelf.
Feb. 23-24
"Dog Sees God" auditions - The College Theatre Association will host auditions for "Dog Sees God," a student-directed play to be performed in the spring.
Sophomore Christian Amato will direct this piece, which presents the lives of the "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" characters as they continue into their teens.
Auditions will be from 6-9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday nights in the Studio Theatre (Myers 129).

Feb. 24
"A Wintery Mix" - The Plattsburgh State music department will host a chamber music concert by the Key Winds Trio at 2 p.m. Sunday in Krinovitz. The concert will feature pieces by Mendelssohn, Zagwijn and Khachaturian.
Two former PSUC professors and another local musician compose the trio.
Admission is free and open to the public.
Feb. 28-29
Student Night of One Acts auditions - The College Theatre Association hosts auditions for the popular SNOOA, which will take place in the spring.
SNOOA features several short pieces written, directed and performed by students.
Auditions will be from 6-9 p.m. Thursday and Friday nights in the Studio Theatre (Myers 129).
