NFL has never witnessed such a savvy, skilled team

It's simple.

There is not a single team in the NFL today that can compare to the New England Patriots. Not their record. Not their athletes. Not their coaching staff. Not their chemistry. Nothing.

Two of the three teams to even contend with the Pats all season have been the below-par Eagles and Ravens.

Yikes, scary birds.

These whack teams couldn't seal the deal and don't even have .500 seasons. They were close, but not close enough.

Somebody has got to let them know that almost only counts in horseshoes.

Not only do they dominate the NFL in the year 2007 and throughout the new millennium, but the Patriots are the best team in the NFL… ever.

The undefeated '72 Dolphins were good, but this is a new age of football.

It's 2007. The rules are better and more advanced. Calls on the field are at the highest correction rate ever. There are more players being scouted, better coaching strategies applied and a fan base that is still growing tremendously.

The Patriots have literally leveled nine of 12 opponents since the first week of the season, and the least likely teams are the ones who almost pulled off the upsets.

I know it's still fresh in everyone's minds. The two closest games they had all season just happened.

Think back to week two. The Patriots squaring off against last year's powerhouse San Diego. "Oh, the Patriots and Randy Moss are going down!" everyone insisted.

Come on. What was that score? 38-14, New England.

That's close.

Who was the next contender?

Oh right, the NFC leaders and then-undefeated Dallas Cowboys.

Man, they we close too. 48-27.

Next?

OK, the reigning-champion Colts were close in a game that out-hyped this year's Super Bowl. They are one team that could have actually beaten the Minute Men, but they didn't even come as close as either flock of birds.

People are going to be whining this week too: "Watch out for Pittsburgh, they have a chance."

Come on, the Steelers have a better chance of an earthquake in its city.

Until that Penn. ground starts shaking, you know what channel to watch on Sunday at 4:15 p.m.

We know that Tom Brady is the league leading passer, right? He's the most clutch pocket quarterback since John Elway.
