ALBANY -- Police turned up no new evidence this week when officers searched the Hudson River for Joshua Szostak, a Plattsburgh State student missing since last month, the Albany Times Union reports.

The 21-year-old from Latham, who was expected to return to Plattsburgh State for the spring semester, hasn't been seen since leaving the Bayou Cafe on North Pearl Street early on Dec. 23.

Police used a side-imaging sonar device Wednesday and Thursday to search under water.
