"Holdin' On" was one of the first songs to be played from the new disc, and the band showed their enjoyment while playing it, too.
One of the most impressive things to see is a drummer who can sing at the same time, especially in this specific style.
Benoit showed off his skill while singing and laying down the beats for the song.
His voice sounded much fuller and better live than it does on the recording, giving more feeling into his live performance.
The guys soon stripped down and began playing a series of acoustic-only songs with Wrba bringing out his stand-up bass on songs such as "I Prefer" and "Guy Holmes."
Duffy is described as a phenomenal harmonica player, and he may be just that.
When given a chance to solo, he takes off and lets his harmonica sing on the song "Reelin'" where the harmonica is the headlining instrument in the song.
Barefoot seems to love this song - every band member was truly getting into it. Wrba danced and Duffy rocked out and jumped around.
At the end, Evans goes into a cool tribal drum solo, taking over the song and soon going into a bass and drum solo.
Jay Driscoll sheds light on the band's large array of instruments by breaking out the steel guitar on "Broken Road," during which a dance-off broke out in the crowd.
Barefoot Truth put on a very impressive show at Higher Ground. Hopefully, they will do the same when they come to Plattsburgh State on Oct. 27 to play. Make sure to check it out.
