The Red Dragons are a team that has thus far risen to the occasion and won the games that matter the most, those in the SUNYAC.
Junior forward Katie Trivisonno leads Cortland in points with 13 points this season, almost double the amount of senior Mandy Womelsdorf, who has recorded seven on the year.
Cortland has tallied 14 goals in the first half this year, yet only four in the second half.
PSUC appears to always put in that little extra effort in the second half, yet has scored 15 of their 26 goals in the first, so it should be an interesting match up.
Oswego, on the other hand, will pose a different tomorrow. The Lakers have accounted for only nine goals and have given up 12 to opponents. With those stats up against the 26-4 goals-goals against statistic of the Cardinals, PSUC should be favored in this game.
"We definitely are going to take something out of the loss this weekend and use some of that in practice this week," Giroux said on Sunday. "We just need to stay focused and get ready for the games ahead of us."
Radigan added, "We need to rest up, practice hard, and definitely stay focused."
Rest, practice, and focus are going to be key heading into a two-game road trip, so the Cards' seem to be on the right track mentally.
