"I think we communicated really well on Saturday, and moved the ball a lot better than we did against Oswego," Giroux said.
Radigan said, "We used our space as much as we possibly could. I think we played more as a team against SUNYIT, but we still worked hard and fought to the very end against Oswego."
The Cardinals' six consecutive wins to start the 2007 season sets a new record, overcoming the previous 5-0 streak the team had at the beginning of the 1995 season.
The team has a busy weekend coming up. Tonight night at 4 p.m., Geneseo comes to town, and less than a day later the Cards take on the undefeated and defending SUNYAC Champion Brockport Golden Eagles, at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
Although the Brockport game tomorrow has the potential for serious SUNYAC implications, the Cardinals are not in any way looking ahead past Friday, where a decent Geneseo team (2-2-1 overall, 0-0-1 SUNYAC) looks to try and derail the PSUC streak.
And we're playing Geneseo on Friday," Radigan said, reiterating the team attitude of approaching games one at a time.
With two big conference games so close together, this weekend will be a true test of how well the Cards' are able to follow this "game-by-game" approach.
