A University of Florida student was Tased then arrested following a series of sarcastic and analytical questions to senator and 2004 presidential candidate John Kerry this week.

Many people have been hypocritical of the actions taken by police officers there, wondering if the student, Andrew Meyer, was treated unfairly or if such force was actually needed to apprehend the student.

Meyer was called upon to speak by Kerry in an open forum at the university where he first thanked the senator for his time and honesty. Meyer then recommended a book to Kerry and Kerry claims, "I already read it."

The book Meyer holds and recommends to Kerry is "Armed Madhouse" by Greg Palast, in which Palast explains how Kerry and President Bush were in the same secret society at Yale and how Kerry actually won the election, but did nothing about it.

The secret society is called "Skull and Bones" and is considered the equivalent of an Elite, Ivy-league-school fraternity (where actual fraternities are prohibited). Both Kerry and Bush are known members to the exclusive group.

Kerry said he wanted to answer Meyer's question but did not get a chance because police officers quickly interfere.

"He's been talking for two hours, I think I can have two minutes, thank you very much," Meyer said as the police try to pull him away from the microphone.

After numerous failed attempts to shut the student up, his microphone was turned off. The police then began to escort Meyer out of the building and he began to get loud, resisting the officers and raising his hands in the air. The audience was thoroughly amused.

A large male officer then literally picked Meyer up and carried him toward the door, where he wiggled his way free again and was slammed to the ground.

As the audience of students and faculty applauded and giggled, the police found very little humor in Meyer's antics and use their Taser to straighten him up.

"Don't Tase me, bro!" Meyer is heard screaming just before the clicking of the Taser is repeatedly heard.

Sam Hollingsworth or shall I say "Py" has written a great article. Not only did he inform me on the subject, he also grabbed my attention. As I was reading I realized how "Py's" unique style really created a visual of the whole incident! It was as if I was actually there. (Continued…)
