The next stage is, well, being drunk. As your blood alcohol level decreases, surprisingly, the feeling of being drunk becomes more prevalent. The body's euphoria fades off leaving one feeling somewhat depressed.
Then there's always the hangover - but that's for the next morning.
Bartender Brian Ganon says he's seen a lot at his bar. "A puke story makes a good story," he said. "Anytime someone pukes on someone else, it's pretty funny."
The hardest and probably most intense shot Passino has made is the Red Death. Vodka, Southern Comfort, sloe gin, triple sec, orange juice and lime juice make this shot quite powerful.
Rumors lined up a few shots of different colors for Cardinal Points to test (in a journalistic, educational way of course.)
First up was the Swedish fish. The red concoction was filled with Blackhouse, peach schnapps and cranberry juice. The shot went down easy, with a sweet taste that had hardly any bite to it.
The thought that it tasted like a Swedish Fish was obviously not a coincidence.
The blue Viagra shot was made with blue Curacao, Blackhouse, blackberry schnapps and Red Bull.
This one tasted like a Sweet-Tart with a tangy after-taste.
Midori and sour mix were the ingredients for the melon ball, which was more on the sour side with a sweet kick at the end. This shot went down a little harder with slightly more burn.
Passino said he likes to tinker, and do something different every once in a while.
He then created his own shot, on the spot. Mixing Berry Fusion, blueberry vodka and 7UP, he named his purple-colored shot the berry rancher.
The shot had a fruity taste with the slightest detection of alcohol. "This one's more like a chick shot," said Passino.
A mind eraser was then made in on the rocks.
KahlĂșa, vodka, tonic and ice went into this drink, with the KahlĂșa's dark color lurking at the bottom.
The idea is that whoever is drinking it is supposed to slurp it all through a straw - and that wasn't easy.
This drink was the hardest to go down, especially getting to the bottom.
So from the vivid color of the red-headed slut to the electric blue in the Viagra, one can have oneself a somewhat "colorful" night downtown.
