Let me start out by saying that the job of the press is to keep its government in line.
Cardinal Points has done that, a lot.
But, it seems to me that people are avoiding giving the Student Association credit where credit is due.
Lest we forget, this organization got me a $200 ski pass, a $10 unlimited-ride drunk bus, the day-shuttle, movie night and $5 round-trip ferry tickets.
I feel that I should remind everyone that, while parliamentary procedure is useful, the SA is made up of college students. It's a tool, in this case, to ensure that the SA runs, which it does.
The SA does, indeed, get things done.
I'm not saying we shouldn't hold them accountable, but while the SA needs to bone up on its rules, CP needs to relax with its criticism.
I applaud CP's criticism, but I believe it was an unfair appraisal of the work of the SA.
