OCT. 14

12:09 a.m. - Margaret Street - The Plattsburgh City Police arrested Daniel Tangney of Mason Hall and charged him with a violation of the ABC Law for possession of alcohol under the age of 21. The individual was released upon an appearance ticket.

12:30 a.m. - Mason Hall - A resident student reported that while he was doing his laundry with his girlfriend that they were harassed by another resident student. Officers located the individual and identified him. A crime incident report was filed and college charges were forwarded.

1:00 a.m. - Margaret Street - The Plattsburgh City Police arrested Adam Sorrano of Hood Hall and charged him with a violation of the ABC Law for possession of alcohol under the age of 21. Sorrano was released upon an appearance ticket.

2:30 a.m. - Wilson Hall - Officers conducting a walk-through of Wilson Hall observed a resident with a case of beer. The individual was found to be under the age of 21. A crime incident report was filed and college charges were forwarded.

7:08 p.m. - University Police - University Police received a report of possible drugs possession in a residence hall. A crime incident report was filed. The investigation is continuing.

9:30 p.m. - Wilson Hall - University Police received a report that a resident student may have been injured in a hazing incident at an off campus location. A service report was filed. The investigation is continuing.

OCT. 15

8:09 a.m. - Wilson Hall - An employee reported that someone stole a college-owned rug from an elevator in Wilson Hall. The theft occurred sometime between 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 12 and 8:09 a.m. on Oct. 15. A crime incident report was filed

10:05 a.m. - Banks Hall - A resident student reported that someone stole a sweatshirt from a dryer he was using in Banks Hall. A crime incident report was filed. The investigation is continuing.

OCT. 16

11:23 a.m. - University Police - The vice president for student affairs office forwarded several letters to University Police for hand delivery. A service report was filed.

9:57 p.m. - Kent Hall - A resident assistant reported that someone had broken the lower glass panel on a main entrance door at Kent Hall. A crime incident report was filed. The investigation is continuing.

OCT. 17

5:15 p.m. - Wilson Hall - While interviewing a resident about a rug that was removed from the elevator in Wilson Hall, dorm staff allegedly observed a marijuana bong in the individual's room. A crime incident report was filed and college charges were forwarded.

OCT. 18

10:10 a.m. - Sibley Hall - A faculty member reported that a student was being disruptive during class. The faculty member was advised of the possible options. A service report was filed. The investigation is continuing.

11:15 a.m. - Lot 15 - An off campus student reported that she was missing items from her vehicle which was parked in Lot 15 on Oct. 13. Officers checked the area with negative results. A crime incident report was filed.

11:34 p.m. - Field House - An employee reported that tools were removed from a lift being used to work on the Field House. The tools were taken sometime between Oct. 16-18. The area was checked. The tools were not located. A crime incident report was filed.

6:03 p.m. - Redcay Hall - A faculty member reported having a student who is disrespectful and disrupting in class. The faculty member was advised that a judicial referral could be filed or charges lodged against the individual if the conduct continues. A service report was filed. The investigation is continuing.

11:36 p.m. - Harrington Hall - An off campus student reported to University Police that he had just been assaulted near the west side basement entrance to Harrington Hall. The victim knew one of the individuals involved. Officers checked the area and the dorm for the suspects with negative results. A crime incident report was filed. On Oct. 19 University Police arrested Jason Corrigan of deFredenburgh Hall and charged him with sixth degree conspiracy; and Clinton Community College student John White of Dormitory Drive and charged him with third degree assault. Both were released on appearance tickets.

OCT. 19

11:02 a.m. - Algonquin Hall - University Police received a report that the card reader at the Rugar Street entrance to Algonquin Hall had been damaged. A crime incident report was filed. The investigation is continuing.

11:30 a.m. - Beaumont Hall - A faculty member reported that an individual may be trying to scam money from the students for trips abroad. The individual was located and identified in Beaumont Hall. The individual left the area without incident. A service report was filed.

6:33 p.m. - Macdonough Hall - University Police and the PFD responded to a reported fire alarm in Macdonough Hall. A resident using aftershave had accidentally activated the alarm. The area was cleared and the alarm reset. A service report was filed

OCT. 20

12:29 a.m. - Rugar Street - University Police observed two resident students walking on Rugar Street with plastic cups of alcohol. The individuals were stopped and identified. College charges were forwarded. A third student received college charges for interfering with officers. A crime incident report was filed.

2:35 a.m. - Rugar Street - Plattsburgh City Police arrested Ryan Mau of Harrington Hall and charged him with the crime of driving while intoxicated. Mau was released to a third party.

6:52 p.m. - deFredenburgh Hall - A resident student reported that she had been verbally harassed by a male on the elevator in deFredenburgh Hall. Officers checked the area and spoke with dorm staff. A service report was filed. The investigation is continuing.
